Ukraine repels assaults, intercepts drones as Russian sites reportedly hit

Ukrainian forces reported repelling 234 combat engagements and intercepting 181 Russian drones overnight. Separately, a defense plant in Cheboksary, Russia, and other sites reportedly experienced fires after suspected attacks.

Ukrainian forces reported repelling 234 combat engagements over the past day, with 40 Russian assaults halted in the Pokrovsk direction. Ukraine's General Staff also stated that Russian forces incurred approximately 1,190 personnel losses and three tanks. Meanwhile, Russia launched 207 attack drones overnight on June 10, from five directions including occupied Crimea. The Ukrainian Air Force reported intercepting 181 of these UAVs, though 21 drones reportedly struck 14 locations across the country. Separately, a defense plant in Cheboksary, Russia, over 1,000 km from Ukraine, reportedly experienced a fire after a suspected missile attack. OSINT analysts suggested the "VNIIR-Progress" enterprise manufactures antennas for "Shahed" drones. Fires were also reported at an oil refinery in Samara and other sites in the Rostov region.
