Trump announced and then canceled planned strikes on Iran

Former President Donald Trump initially announced plans for a "very strong strike" against Iran and to seize Kharg Island, threatening to "bomb the shit out of Iran," but later called off the planned military operations.
Following two nights of military exchanges between American forces and Iran, former President Donald Trump initially announced intentions for a "very strong strike" against the Islamic Republic. He also threatened to "bomb the shit out of Iran" if a proposed deal was not accepted, and outlined plans to take control of Kharg Island and other Iranian oil facilities. Trump described the April ceasefire as "the most violated in history," prompting Tehran to announce the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. However, hours after these statements, Trump ultimately called off the planned military operations.
