Following Russia's large-scale missile and drone attack on Ukraine on July 2, which involved 74 missiles and 496 drones primarily targeting Kyiv, authorities continue to assess the damage and conduct rescue operations. The Ukrainian Air Force noted the assault's complexity, involving "simultaneous use of various air attack means from different directions" and a significant number of ballistic missiles. In Kyiv, where 13 people were killed and over 30 injured, the Darnytskyi district sustained severe damage, with Mayor Vitaliy Klychko stating part of a residential building was "literally blown away." Rescuers have saved 17 individuals from this site, with a family including a 15-year-old girl still missing.
