Russian truckers raise tariffs amid fuel crisis

Russian road carriers are reportedly implementing tariff increases of at least 10% for transportation services, effective July 1st. This move comes as logistics companies inform clients about impending price adjustments, attributing them to a domestic fuel crisis. According to business publication Kommersant, citing market participants, the announced 10% rise may not be the ultimate ceiling. Tatyana Patuzhnaya, co-founder of the Sigma group of logistics and transport companies, confirmed that her firm received notifications from other carriers about the tariff hikes. The increases reflect ongoing challenges within Russia's fuel market, impacting operational costs for freight services across the country.
