Russian strikes kill five, injure nine in Ukraine's Donetsk region

Russian forces carried out a series of strikes across Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region, leading to the deaths of five people and injuries to nine others. The attacks, which impacted civilian areas, saw the most significant casualties reported in Kramatorsk, the main administrative hub within the Ukrainian-controlled part of the region. In Kramatorsk alone, three individuals were killed and four sustained injuries as a result of the bombardments. The strikes caused damage to infrastructure and residential buildings in various locations throughout the Donetsk oblast. Ukrainian authorities are assessing the full extent of the destruction and providing assistance to those affected by the recent escalation of hostilities.
