Russian political emigrants form new opposition party in Berlin

Russian political emigrants have established a new opposition party, "Peaceful Forces of Russia," during a founding congress held in Berlin. The party, conceived to represent the interests of Russian opposition figures living abroad, has elected Ilya Yashin as its leader. Yashin, a prominent political emigrant, articulated the party's core objective, stating, "We are creating the party precisely to fight for power in Russia and to be a subject of international relations." He further indicated that while the party is currently formed outside Russia, its long-term goal is to transfer its activities to the country itself.
