Russian forces continue attacks across Ukraine, causing casualties and damage

Russian forces maintained offensive operations across Ukraine between June 7 and 14, causing civilian casualties and infrastructure damage. On June 7, multiple explosions occurred in Russian-occupied Crimea, with reports of fires at oil depots near Kerch and Feodosia. Russia's Ministry of Defense claimed its air defenses successfully intercepted drones over the peninsula. The subsequent day, a Russian drone struck a five-story residential building in Konotop, Sumy region, resulting in the death of a 78-year-old woman and injuries to three other individuals. In Kherson, a 14-year-old boy sustained injuries from shelling in the Korabelny district, and a separate drone attack damaged upper-floor balconies of a multi-story building in the Central district. Throughout the week, the Sumy region also faced remote road mining, assaults on civilian vehicles, and interruptions to vital services such as electricity and water.
