Russian forces conducted a series of drone attacks across Ukraine, resulting in casualties and damage in multiple regions. On June 7, a Russian drone struck a police vehicle near Chystovodivka, Kharkiv region, killing an explosive ordnance disposal technician and injuring three other officers and one civilian who were responding to an unexploded drone. Earlier the same day, at 2:10 AM, a drone partially damaged a container reception building at the Central Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage facility in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. Authorities confirmed no spent nuclear fuel was present, and radiation levels remained normal. Separately, on June 6, two civilians were killed in Kramatorsk and Druzhkivka, Donetsk region, with six others injured. An FPV drone also struck a shuttle bus in Kushuhum, Zaporizhzhia region, that evening. Most recently, on the night of June 8, at least six drone strikes were reported in Kharkiv city's Kholodnohirskyi district, with information on consequences still being clarified.
