Philippines bans video game after school shooting link

The Philippines has temporarily banned the gaming application Gorebox following an initial investigation that connected a 14-year-old suspect in a recent school shooting to the game. The incident, which occurred in Tacloban, south-east of Manila, resulted in the deaths of three students and injuries to 20 others. Police reported that two suspects, aged 15 and 14, allegedly used handguns inside a classroom. Authorities initiated the block on Gorebox after identifying the younger suspect as a player of the application.
