Middle East: Israel rejects Iran's conditional strike halt, continues Lebanon operations

Israel has rejected Iran's conditional offer to halt strikes, vowing to continue operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Strikes killed 14, and former US President Donald Trump urged "surgical" action.
Following reciprocal attacks, Iran proposed a conditional cessation of its strikes, contingent on Israel halting operations in southern Lebanon. However, Israel rejected these terms, with its Defense Minister asserting the country "will continue to act" against Hezbollah in Lebanon. On Monday, Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon reportedly resulted in 14 fatalities. The Israeli military also carried out bombings in Beirut's southern suburbs and Tyre. Amidst these persistent regional tensions, former US President Donald Trump advocated for more "surgical" strikes against Hezbollah.
