Major Ukrainian OTT platforms launch independent ad services

Sweet.tv and Kyivstar TV, major Ukrainian OTT platforms, have ceased cooperation with Vidzone and launched their own advertising platforms, a move expected to reshape the 1.2 billion UAH digital TV ad market.

Major Ukrainian over-the-top (OTT) platforms Sweet.tv and Kyivstar TV have reportedly ended their collaboration with Vidzone, a service for placing digital television advertisements. Both companies have subsequently launched their own independent advertising platforms. Vidzone had previously established a unified advertising infrastructure that served the majority of Ukrainian OTT services for several years. This strategic shift by key market players is anticipated to significantly alter the landscape of the digital TV advertising market, which is valued at approximately 1.2 billion UAH.
