Activists specifically called for the establishment of civil partnerships and the withdrawal of a proposed new Civil Code. The event, which took place on Sunday, June 7, near the Opera House, also highlighted Ukraine's commitments to European integration. Security measures included metal barriers and the presence of dozens of police and National Guard officers.
