Kyiv hit by Russian attack; Google fine upheld; Ukraine seeks EU military aid and launches defense exports

Kyiv experienced a significant Russian attack on July 2, resulting in over ten fatalities and damage to more than twenty residential structures. Meanwhile, the European Union Court of Justice confirmed a €4.1 billion fine against Google for abusing its dominant position with the Android operating system, upholding an earlier decision. Separately, Ukraine has requested €6.6 billion in military assistance from the European Peace Facility, aiming to capitalize on a perceived "window of opportunity" on the front lines expected to last six to nine months.
