Ivano-Frankivsk region reports soldier's return and official's bail release

Recent reports from Ukraine's Ivano-Frankivsk region highlight two separate developments. On June 3, 2026, serviceman Ivan Mytskanyuk was welcomed in Yavoriv village, Kosiv community, following his release from Russian captivity. Mytskanyuk had been held for two years and nine months. Concurrently, Oleh Semkiv, head of the State Architectural and Construction Control Department of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, was released from a pre-trial detention center. Semkiv posted bail amounting to 5.2 million hryvnias. He, along with two other officials, Ihor Musilovskyi and Hryhoriy Kachan, is suspected of corruption related to the construction sector.
