Hungary's Magyar announces agreement with Ukraine on minority rights

Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar has announced that Ukraine and Hungary have reached a comprehensive agreement concerning the rights of the Hungarian minority in Ukraine. Magyar stated that the deal, achieved after three weeks of intensive expert-level negotiations, expands the linguistic, educational, cultural, and political rights for hundreds of thousands of ethnic Hungarians. He highlighted that this outcome surpassed what the previous Hungarian administration had accomplished in a decade. The discussions reportedly included participation from political organizations representing Transcarpathian Hungarians and various churches.
