Attacks continue to disrupt key transport routes to and within occupied Crimea

Ukrainian forces continue to target key infrastructure in and around occupied Crimea, leading to further transport disruptions including bridge closures and damage to oil facilities.

Ukrainian forces have continued to target key infrastructure in and around occupied Crimea, leading to further transport disruptions. On June 7, Ukraine's Special Operations Forces confirmed striking the Semikolodezyansk oil depot and a Feodosia oil terminal. Satellite imagery subsequently showed damage to the Chonhar bridge from a June 7 attack, with impact marks and a pontoon crossing nearby. Russian-appointed officials reported the Chonhar bridge was closed again on June 9 following a drone attack, claiming over 20 unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted. Additionally, the bridge connecting Henichesk to the Arabat Spit was also closed after Russian-appointed authorities alleged an attempted Ukrainian missile strike early that morning.
